Bicester 10 - 0 Ashford (Dave Sutcliffe 3, Ollie Hartley 2, Ben Kirk 2, Will Hartley, Jamie Inshaw, Leo Graves)
Bicester recorded their first win of the season in convincing fashion with a double digits win over Ashford at The Cooper School.
After an opening ten minutes where Bicester dominated but couldn't score, the deadlock was broken by Ollie Hartley as he dived to meet a pin-point cross from Dave Sutcliffe.
Goals then began to flow with Ben Kirk scoring a one-on-one, Will Hartley scoring a lovely goal after a strong run from the left hand side and Jamie Inshaw getting his first goal for the club with a delightful reverse stick finish.
A fifth was added just before half-time when Dave Sutcliffe deflected in from an Inshaw crash ball into the D.
Bicester came back after half time looking to sustain the performance from the first half and soon had their sixth when Sutcliffe scored from a short corner rebound.
The next three goals came in quick succession as Sutcliffe got his hat trick with a deflection from an Andy Brown shot, Ollie Hartley doubled his tally with a tap in at the back post and Ben Kirk scored his second with a lovely bit of skill to round the Ashford goalkeeper.
The tenth and final goal was then added by Leo Graves after some strong work from Man of the Match Will Hartley.
Bicester are now up into the top half of the table after a shakey start to the season and travel to Ramgharia next week looking to build on their good performance.
