South Berkshire 1s 3 - 0 Bicester
Bicester lost their unbeaten record with a loss away to table-toppers South Berkshire 1s on Saturday.
South Berkshire were the more clinical team as they capitalised on Bicester's mistakes and a failure to create many chances from the away team. The newly formed home team took the lead early on in the game and never looked like relinquishing their lead, which they doubled near the end of the first half.
Nathan Elliott managed to keep the score down and Bicester were able to fashion a few more chances in a better second half from the away team. Bicester were unfortunate to concede a penalty stroke in the second half and were not able to score their own as the game drew to a close, not able to thus add a consolation goal which would realistically not have been massively deserved.
Jeff Elliott took the man of the match after a tireless performance in midfield and Bicester now need to put this result behind them and move onto play Sonning at home next week.
