Bicester continue strong start with comfortable win

Bicester 5 - 1 West Hamptead (Jonny Reid, Benjamin Kirk, David Delamore-Sutcliffe, Will Hartley)

Bicester continued their strong start to the season with a 5-1 win against a depleted West Hampstead side.

West Hampstead started strongly and got the first goal from a short corner to take the lead. Their goalkeeper, who had an outstanding game, them proceeded to make save after save to keep Bicester out. Bicester equalised later in the first half when David Delamore-Sutcliffe's shot deflected to Jonny Reid who had an open goal. Benjamin Kirk then stepped up to score a wonderfully well-placed drag-flick into the corner to give Bicester the lead and at half-time the score was 2-1.

In the second half, despite not playing brilliantly, Bicester managed to find three more goals. David Delamore-Sutcliffe got two goals with some expected, excellent, goal-line action and Will Hartley, who had an outstanding game up-front with some direct running, added gloss with a well taken goal as the game drew to a close.
