2-0 win at Wallingford and Banbury losing 5-2 at Hawks gives the boys the league.

On a cold afternoon in Wallingford the U14 boys took the chances in a close game against Wallingford.
The first half had chances for both teams with Bicester's keeper William Howell making a couple of very good saves at Wallingford players feet. Bicester's goal came on 20 mins with a through ball to Amy Willis on the 23. Amy ran into the D and pushed the ball past the keepers right foot. The rest of the half was more of the same with both teams battling for control of the middle of the pitch.
The second half saw more of the same, Wallingford pressuring Bicesters defence and then Bicester doing the same to Wallingfords defence. The deciding goal came from a short corner routine that the boys have been practicing for a number of weeks now. Alex Birtles finding Finlay Sharp coming in from the injection who put the ball into the Wallingford goal.
The game carried on in the close competitive manner that it had from the start but Wallingford could not breakdown the Bicester defence.
Well done boys on winning the league with thanks to all the players from the U14 girls and U12 boys that have jumped in to help the boys play 11 a side games.
