First festival of the season 3 wins, 1 loss, 10-1 goals.

We went to the first Junior Festival run by Abingdon and had a great time in the sun.

Our first match was against Oxford, which we narrowly lost 1-0.

The 2nd match was against Abingdon and this was a very tight affair, with us having much of the ball but having to defend well at times. We eventually won this match 1-0 thanks to a well created goal by Luke.

Our 3rd match was against a well drilled Thame side, but we managed to win 2-0 with excellent goals from Dan and Fin.

Having been involved with beat the keeper, we came back to the pitch for our final match against Swindon.

Swindon being a team that we have never come up against before in all the U10 festivals we have been to, so we did not know what we might be up against. Taking a quick look at the Swindon players, who were a bit short in height, it soon dawned on our players that we needed to play out wide and run fast, and we would able to score a few goals.

We totally bossed this match, with us winning 7-0. Goals were scored by Fin (3), Ava (2), Luke, and Emma.

Credit should also go to Olivia, Ralph, Milla, and Audrey for the performances that they put in to help the team.

At the end of the festival we were presented with a trophy which just needs a clubhouse to be shown off in.
