Bicester started well against a well organised Reading side. Despite coming under early pressure Bicester were able to counter attack, and create chances of their own. Reading found the breakthrough just before half time with a well taken goal. The second half saw Reading come out stronger and added two goals in quick succession despite solid tackling from Immy Thripland, Samantha Horle and Alana Honey. Captain Kirsty Mckenna rallied her team and put in some good work while she was able to remain upright. Solid running from Kate Ford, Mione Romain and Tenisha Aparo showed Bicesters determination and the forward line of Georgia Mann, Nicolle Kniebe and Kelly Frater kept the Reading defence on their toes. The best chance fell to Nicolle Kniebe after a quick counter attack but she just narrowly put the ball wide. Reading kept pressing forward and were lucky to add twice more to their tally before the end. A solid performance with every player giving everything to the final whistle.
