Fabulous match report from our very lovely Kelly Frater
It was my second time with these amazing bunch of ladies and it was one hell of a match.
L1 were hungry for a win and sunk their teeth in from the first whistle.
The mids Bea, Annabel, Georgia and mom Beth tirelessly fought up and down the pitch linking up with both defenders and strikers in a a super team performance. Using the back pass or forward passing at Pivotal times!
Strikers Emilie, Becky, Rosie and Kelly had many chances!
First goal came from a text book short with a straight stone on goal and landing on Georgias stick to go over the goalies head!
Second goal was from a reverse stick from Kelly that lift in the air and Rosie captain player who reverse sticked it in the air passed the goalie.
Very sexy goals
The defenders captain rach, Kat, Mollie and Ash fought tirelessly coming up to support the mid field and running back to protect the goal. Such a 50/50 game they dug in deep.
And not to mention our lovely goalie jo who saved many goals over and over.
Proper team game so proud of you lovely lot ?
