Unlike their first game of the season the team started quickly and rarely looked in trouble. Hawks had a few attacks but they got dealt with by a solid defence and Amy in the goal.
The first goal came in the first quarter after a melee from a short corner. The ball was pushed onto the keepers feet who then unfortunately for Hawks kicked it into her own goal.
So 1 nil at the end of the first quarter.
The 2nd quarter was more of the same the team finding the best attacking options was the flanks and the 2nd goal came from the left flank, a reverse stick pass into the D from Annie Bowler who found Charlotte Kemp in front of the keeper, she remained calm and slid the ball past the keeper into the goal.
The second half, quarters 3 and 4 was mostly Bicester attacking and finding determined defence, good keeping and shots not finding the targets.
The girls played very well taking many of the things from training into the game especially the short corner routines, both attacking and defensive routines.
All round a very pleasing display with all players adapting to the roles they were given.
