After a shaky first 5 mins the girls settled into playing some good hockey moving the ball around with increasing confidence until Amy Willis got the first of her 4 goals when she pounced on a poor clearance from the keeper on 10 mins. That set up the tone for the rest of the first hour of the game, Oxford B competing but Bicester being to strong and Amy finishing of a well worked move. With assists from Lucy Haynes, Clara and Kate showing the team all working at going forward. The other 2 goals came from Lucia Sammons making it 0-5 and then 0-6, both strong runs into the D finished with good shots.
Most of the players were asked to play out of position for at least a quarter of the game all of them worked hard to learn and contribute to the team performance, some surprising themselves how well they played.
A very good start to the season a few things to work on, but the girls showed lots of promise.
