U12s Win at Witney Festival

What fantastic weather for the first festival of the season - matched only by the hockey on display from Bicester!
Bicester's two teams finished 1st and 5th overall of the 18 x U12 teams entered - with Bicester B taking overall honours from Witney by a single goal!

It was the fantastic team play on show by both teams that most impressed, though. Some great interchanges and passing that lead to Bicester's 21 goals and some sterling defence and goal keeping meant that only 2 goals were conceded all afternoon (and none by the 'A' team!).
Special mention to Georgia in goal, who played in 6 out of the 8 matches for both teams, and to Charlie who ended up top scorer for the day.

The bar has been set high for the season! Next week back to Witney for Oxfordshire League matches for Girls and Boys teams...
