Des Jenkins

Thank you all for the 1 minute silence before each game last Saturday.

The funeral is at Banbury Crematorium at 3pm on Monday 9th March, all welcome.

I am afraid to inform you that we have just found out that Des Jenkins sadly passed away on last Saturday afternoon. 

As many of you will know, Des was a real club stalwart and did a huge amount for us in his 30+ years at the club, he will be sorely missed by a lot of people associated with the BHC and I would be grateful if you could pass this sad news onto anyone who may have known him.

As a mark of respect, can I ask that a minute's silence is held before each of your games on Saturday and where possible, can you ensure that each player wears a black armband/tape?

At this stage, we don't know the funeral arrangements but as soon as we do, I or Andy will let you know.  Andy has kindly agreed to arrange a card which we'll circulate around the club on Saturday and again at committee on Monday.
